How to get a Discord User ID
Discord User IDs are numeric identifiers. Enable Developer Mode first, then copy the ID from the user’s profile or context menu.
Desktop / Web
Windows, macOS, Linux, or browser
- Open Discord and go to User Settings.
- Open Advanced, then enable Developer Mode.
- Find the user whose ID you want.
- Right-click the user’s name or avatar.
- Choose Copy User ID.
- Return to the lookup page and paste the copied number.
Tip: You can usually copy a User ID from a server
member list, message author, DM, or opened profile.
Mobile
Discord app on iPhone or Android
- Open Discord and tap your profile/settings.
- Find Advanced and enable Developer Mode.
- Open the profile of the user you want.
- Open the profile’s ••• / More menu.
- Tap Copy User ID.
- Return to the lookup page and paste the ID.
Note: Discord may move menu items between app
versions, but Developer Mode must be enabled for the Copy ID option.
